Healthy Snacks for Kiddies

We are always trying to seek out new recipes and ideas for snacks for children that are healthy! Sometimes we need to be creative as children do not like eating healthy food, or children have food allergies or intolerances. At the moment there are lovely berries and fruits in season, so why not be creative with what we have available! The other day I was looking for a nice fruit snack to make and came across Rasberry Treats. See below for the VERY EASY recipe!

Ingredients:

One tub rasberries, rinsed under cold water.

One cup full cream plain yoghurt.

Method:

Lay the rasberries on a plate or a tray. Fill each rasberry with a small bit of plain yoghurt (it does help to put the cup of yoghurt in the freezer for about ten minutes prior to filling the rasberries as this makes the yoghurt a bit easier to work with). Once you have filled all the rasberries, place the tray/plate in the freezer for about an hour. You can keep checking the rasberries, you will know they are ready when the yoghurt is stiff. Take out freezer and ENJOY!!!

Children and adults LOVE this recipe and trust me, they taste very moreish!!! It is a healthy option for children to enjoy some fruit and yoghurt on a hot day.
